Description

          Show the slide show about HURRICANES.

 

If you can’t get the current satellite picture website up above click on:

http://www.rap.ucar.edu/weather/satellite/

Then choose Infrared Color on the left, loop-big on the right, then click on the picture of Florida.

 

Have students answer these three questions:

1)       What is a hurricane?

2)      How do you classify a hurricane?

3)      How does a hurricane get its name?
