Home-Based Schooling Options in East Valley School District No. 361 Washington law allows families to educate their children at home. All families who do so must notify their school district every year. They must also participate in a testing program to demonstrate that basic educational needs are being met. To Register for Home School Education All East Valley School District families intending to home school are required by law to notify their neighborhood school district. The District provides an Intent to Home School form for this purpose. The completed form must be signed and delivered (either by mail or walk-in) to the East Valley Administration Office located at 12325 E. Grace, Spokane, WA 99216. East Valley School District supports home schooling families through classes, equipment and testing. Parents remain the primary instructional provider, with EVSD supporting their efforts.
