East Valley Parents Have a Right to Know...

Did you know that all teachers in Washington hold certificates in order to teach?  This means your child's teacher holds a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree. You do have the right to know the qualifications of your child's teacher.  All teachers in the East Valley School District meet the federal and state requirements of Highly Qualified.

You may also ask about the qualifications of your school's instructional para-educators. East Valley can tell you if he/she meets the state qualifications.  Contact your school's principal for the necessary paperwork to request this information.
