 2012-2013 Bus Route Information

 Busing Information...

*First day of School is Wednesday, September 5, 2012

*7th grade students (EXCEPT East Farms) will ride traditional middle school routes to/from the middle school.  In the morning, they will transfer to their home school bus at the middle school.  These transfer buses will be lined up on the southside of the middle school with a sign in the window showing what school they service.

*East Farms 7th graders will find their bus information under the Middle School routes, however they will be brought directly to East Farms in the morning and go home from the middle school.

*Kindergarten and Pre-school students are required to have an adult meet the bus.  These young students will not be released if no adult is present.  An attempt will be made to contact family however if no one is available, she/he will be returned to school.

*Please keep in mind, some stops will be servicing multiple schools (ie MS/CCS and HS).  There will be a sign in the window so your child gets on the correct bus.  Rest assured, if they should get on the incorrect bus inadvertently, we will get them to the appropriate destination safely!

*Activity Routes will again be on a limited basis.  These routes are posted below.

*Please take a few moments to review the bus rules with your student.  Safety is our first priority and failure to follow the rules may result in loss of bus privileges.  BUS RULES

  • Never cross the street against a light, even if you don’t see traffic coming.
  • Walk your bike through intersections.
  • Walk with a buddy … walk with a buddy … walk with a buddy.
  • Wear reflective material. It makes you more visible to street traffic.
