Donuts for WatchDOG Dads
On Thursday Morning 5/17 we're serving donuts to Dads that may want to become WatchDOGs at Trent. (Dads Of Great Students!) Please stop by to learn how you can become a positive male presence at our school. We start at 7:45.
MSP Testing Season at Trent...
We're right in the middle of our testing "window." Our kids are working hard and we want every child to do his or her best. Parents, please:
1) Make sure your child gets enough sleep every night and eats breakfast.
2) Make sure your child comes to school every day (especially on test days!) and arrives on time. Make up tests are hard for kids and they often don't do as well.
3) Stay in touch with your classroom teacher. He or she will be sending home important information. Read it.
4) Encourage your child to do his or her best. It's not just for testing, it's for everything they'll need to do in life!
