Students with Safety Sign

The safety and security of our students is a paramount responsibility for the East Valley School District. Every parent sends their child to school with the expectation their child will be in no danger and will face no harm. Unfortunately, no matter where we are in our society, we all face the possibility that at any given moment our safety and security could be compromised, and schools are no exception. However, in the face of this reality, our district is committed to doing whatever it needs to do to improve the safety and security of our schools for our students, our staff, and our community members. Because of this, I have recommended to the Board of Directors a Capital Project Levy be placed on the November 2018 ballot for the purpose of improving the safety and security of our schools as well as address several necessary improvements to our buildings’ infrastructure.

My hope is for you to learn more about the levy; its purpose and tax implications, but more importantly, be able to ask questions and share any concerns. I invite you to attend one of the following presentations:

Wednesday, October 3 – 6:00 pm – East Valley Administration Office, 3830 N. Sullivan, Bldg. 1
