Recognizing there are significant student mental health needs within our community, East Valley School District has a unique opportunity to pilot a grant-funded student mental health initiative through Spokane County. This mental health initiative will identify students who may need extra support and ensure they are connected with services or programs to help them succeed. EVHS will participate in a nationally normed screening tool to identify possible needs and deliver school-based brief intervention and referral to treatment (SBIRT) services by a licensed mental health professional.
