East Valley School District has a unique opportunity to pilot a grant funded student mental health initiative through Spokane County. This mental health initiative will identify students who may need extra support and ensure they are connected with services or programs to help them succeed. With anything new, comes questions. In order to help provide information to our community, I ask that you take a look at the attached document as an opportunity for your to inform yourself on what Initiative for Student Wellness (ISW) is and how you can best make an informed decision for you and your student(s). ISW is completely voluntary and student can opt-out at any time. This is the initial communication and expect more to follow in the coming weeks. We appreciate your partnership and look forward to providing the support needed for ALL Knights to feel empowered, successful, and ready for their futures.
