Hello East Valley,
The decision has been made to cancel all after school activities and events today (Wed, January 17) due to the continued snowfall accumulation and road conditions.
Much like yesterday's announcement, it is too early to predict any outcomes for tomorrow. We will check roads and conditions tonight and again early in the morning. Our goal is to have a decision made no later than 5:45 AM. If you do not receive a message tomorrow morning, it means school is on schedule as normal.

EVMS is excited to announce a new after school club opportunity! We will be hosting an Improv Group after school on scheduled dates from 2:15pm to 4:15pm. This group will also have scheduled performances!
Applications can be found at either EVMS office. Applications are due to the EVMS public office by October 13th. Make sure to get your application in early as we only have 15 spots available.

Spokane Valley Kiwanis Foundation President, Mike Jackson, presented a grant award to Jon Larson at East Valley Middle School. Huge thank you to Doug Edmonson and the CTE Team for submitting the idea, as well as, the Spokane Valley Kiwanis Foundation Board for selecting them. The school was surprised and very appreciative!

Jon Larson's 8th-grade woodshop classes have been hard at work building garden beds over the last few weeks for a special project. On Thursday, June 8, 2023, they went on a field trip with Mark Peterson and the Extreme Team to take these garden beds to local memory care facilities.
