Washington State law mandates that students with life-threatening health conditions -where the condition would put the child in danger of death during the school day or have medication and/or treatment orders - must have a health care plan in place in order to attend school. This includes students with conditions such as severe bee sting or food allergies, diabetes, seizures, severe asthma, certain heart conditions or other critical types of medical complications. Please let the School Nurse at your child's school know if your child has or develops a life threatening health condition so that we may provide for your child's safety during school hours.
