The East Valley School District Renewal Educational Program & Operations (EP&O) Levy measure, on the ballot for the February 13, 2024, election, replaces the current levy expiring December 2024.  

The renewal EP&O Levy will continue to pay for established educational programming. This includes paying for staff positions, such as teachers, nurses, mental health counselors, career readiness, safety and security staff, professional development for teachers, and classroom and educational needs that the state can’t meet in our schools. East Valley School District has operated with local levy support for education programs and operations for over 40 years.

Funding from this levy ensures all students have opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed. Strong public schools are essential to maintain a vibrant community. High student achievement and engagement levels across East Valley are directly tied to levy-funded school programs that impact every child. Local levy funding allows us to provide quality education beyond the minimum funded by the state. This levy makes up 17% of our current revenue.
