East Valley School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to committees to write the for/against statements for the Spokane County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to the District’s following ballot measures to be considered at the February 13, 2024 Special Election:  (1) Proposition No. 1 - Educational Programs & Operations Replacement Levy.

Those interested should send their name, address, phone number and which position they represent to Brian Talbott Superintendent, East Valley School District, 16924 E Wellesley Ave, Spokane Valley, WA 99216 or via email at talbottb@evsd.org by December 12, 2023, at 4:00 pm. The Board will take action on the appointments at its December 12, 2023, Regular Board Meeting. 

In making the committee appointments, the Board will consider the criteria for appointments made by the Spokane County Auditor’s Office established in the Spokane County Local Voters’ Pamphlet Administrative Rules for Jurisdictions, updated October 5, 2023.  Interested persons must be a registered voter in East Valley School District #361, have an email address and the demonstrated ability to communicate rapidly by email and shall agree to work collaboratively with co-committee members.
